Empties #6

It's that time again! The rare, but fairly regular occurrence of an empties post. I seem to have had an influx of empty cleansers and skincare in general (all the more reason to buy more hey? ;) ) and it was about time I rounded it all up and shared my thoughts on all the products I've finished!

The only hair product in the post today, and actually probably the first hair product I ever reviewed on the blog! This guy's been kicking around for a while indeed! While my hair isn't very tangly by nature, it certainly could get knotty when it was long and super damaged. I definitely found this helped after I washed my hair to slightly nourish and also help the comb glide through a bit easier. I'm not currently in need of a detangler since I chopped off a bunch of hair, but this one was a good 'un. I'm not sure how it would fair on extremely tangly hair though!
Repurchase? Not now, but I would!

Puretopia Refresh & Balance Facial Mist & Toner
This guy has actually featured in a few favourite posts here and there, but I've actually never properly reviewed it. I just find this a really soothing toner that is really refreshing to spritz on the skin! The ingredients are really great and I just find it to be an amazing all-rounder product.
Repurchase? I definitely would in the future!

Trilogy Rosehip Oil Antioxidant +
This facial oil is definitely up there with my favourites! I can't really detect why I like it so much, but I just felt like it did more than the regular Trilogy Rosehip Oil, probably due to the additional ingredients. You will never find me without some sort of facial oil in my routine, and this one definitely does the job well.
Repurchase? Not currently, but in the future yes!

Trilogy Rosapene Night Cream
I bought a little gift set about a year ago which featured this and the previous oil. I don't know if I would have tried this night cream otherwise, but I'm definitely a fan! I absolutely love the texture of this. It's dense, but it's not too heavy on the skin and sinks in really well. I find it just so nourishing and delightful!
Repurchase? I definitely would!

Have I talked about this cleanser enough on this blog? Apparently not. I absolutely love this stuff! It a super thick, oily cream cleanser that I find so nourishing and cleansing when used with a face cloth. While I love it so much, I'm hesitant to recommend it just because it could be too heavy for some skins. A couple of my friends have tried it and disliked it, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. Or get a sample first!
Repurchase? Already have :)

I've only mentioned this product twice on the blog; in a review and a disappointing products post. I'm not a fan! Firstly the packaging is hella annoying with the pump being hard to press and dispensing too much product which then ended up breaking. I find the product pretty useless to be honest. It's extremely gentle and actually doesn't really properly sink into the skin. I have maybe a quarter left but stopped using it long ago - it's gone off now! (ALSO, I'm wondering if this bottle counts toward Lush's recycle/get a free face mask thing?? Plz tell meee).
Repurchase? Nope.

Clearasil Daily Clear Vitamins & Extracts Daily Wash
I won this in a giveaway and delegated it to my morning cleanse. I actually really liked this product! It's creamy but has some salicylic acid and kaolin clay to help treat and prevent acne. Although it's has those ingredients, I didn't find it drying at all, but rather refreshing and slightly moisturising. I do think it helped keep my skin clear to some degree as well!
Repurchase? I would in the future!

Read my review for my full thoughts (also in my disappointing products post) but as you can tell, I wasn't overly blown away by this. For a cloth cleanser, I wish it was thicker, creamier and more moisturising. It does the job and gets my face clean but it really didn't leave my face feeling great after use!
Repurchase? No.

I adore this stuff! I don't throw around the term "holy grail" much but...if I did - this would be one! This is an extremely thin facial oil that I find absorbs so well into the skin that I can use it in the morning comfortably under makeup. It's super moisturising, and I really think it helped with evening my skintone as well. It's a delight to use!
Repurchase? I already have - however, tip: try the ECO. Vitamin C serum which is basically identical (a couple of ingredients have different concentrations) but other than that it's the same texture/smell and does the same thing and a much cheaper price! They're sister brands so they have a lot of overlapping products.
