Hellloooo... is this thing on?! Long time no see peeps! I'm back from my longer-than-intended hiatus! The past month or so has been absolutely hectic for me and I seriously had no time to even think about blogging, let alone actually taking photos or sitting down and writing a post! I've been absolutely slammed with assessment (it's been my biggest first half of semester ever), not to mention it was my sister's wedding on the weekend! It was a very DIY wedding so the days leading up to the wedding were super busy setting up the decor and the venue (and then cleaning up after!). I did her makeup on the day - along with mine and my other sister as we were bridesmaids - which was quite stressful but still super amazing! I do plan on doing a post on the products I used because I was really happy with how it turned out - I'm just waiting until the professional photos come in! Anyway, I'm coming at you today with an overdue empties post. I was going to do this a few weeks ago but I realised I didn't actually have a lot of empties, but a lot of things were aaaalmost finished so I used those suckers up! I've got a lot of products to go through so I'll try and be as brief as possible!
Wotnot Facial Wipes*
I quite liked these! The cloth itself was nice and thick and soft, but these didn't really wow me.
Repurchase? Probably not right now, but they are nice!
Face of Australia Cleansing Oil*
Oddly enough, this stuff stung my eyes a little when I first started using it, but maybe my eyes got used to it but it stopped stinging! This one was a really great cleansing oil. It did the job very well and removed makeup (waterproof included) super easily. It didn't emulsify super well but it didn't leave an oily residue either.
Repurchase? It was nice, but probably not. I have many others to get through!
Elucent Whitening Exfoliating Cleanser*
Finally finished this! I actually really liked this in the beginning and it's the only Elucent product I do like... The other products I tried - day and night cream - I absolutely hated! I think they were breaking me out - and very badly. This cleanser is nice, it has tiny beads that very gently exfoliate but overall I'm glad to be done with it.
Repurchase? No.
Technically not finished this - the tube is huuuge! But it's been sitting in my cupboard for too long and I think it's all dried up. I really liked this though, it's a great budget option for a clay mask that's going to clarify the skin really well.
Repurchase? Probably not - I feel like I've outgrown it!
I really liked this! This one is a gentle clay mask that is "express", meaning you only need to leave it on for 5-10 minutes. I think this actually worked really well for my skin - it wasn't stripping or drying at all but did help decongest and clarify.
Repurchase? Possibly in the future!
Antipodes Aura Manuka Honey Mask
Loooove this stuff! Don't think I can live without it! It's an amazing moisturising mask that is slightly clarifying as well.
Repurchase? Already have!
La Roche-Posay Serozinc
While using this, I didn't get it. I felt like I was just spraying water on my face and it really didn't feel like it was doing anything. I did use it all up though, and after I stopped using it, my skin started acting up acne-wise! Serozinc is supposed to help with acne and redness so now I'm thinking maybe it was doing something! My skin has settled down since but I am tempted to add it back into my routine - maybe it's a placebo effect!
Repurchase? I probably will in the next sale!
Lush Tea Tree Water
Now this is a toner I adore! I use this morning - and now at night as well since I finished Serozinc. It's very gentle but I do feel like the tea tree helps keep acne at bay somewhat. It's not crazy effective, but it's refreshing and gently clarifying!
Repurchase? Already have!
Asap Super B Complex*
I'm not entirely sure if I noticed this doing anything drastic for my skin. It has really great ingredients so I'd like to think it helped moisturise my skin and even out my skin tone, but I can't say for sure whether it did or not.
Repurchase? Probably not.
La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo [+]
Da HG mate.
Repurchase? Duh - got like 2 backups at all times.
Benzac AC 5% Acne Gel
I really like this stuff and find it to be very effective for me on both cystic acne and whiteheads. I feel like maybe my skin has built up a slight tolerance, but it still works.
Repurchase? Already have.
Antipodes Kiwi Seed Oil Eye Cream*
Gosh darn eye cream takes forever to use! I liked this one - found it to be extremely moisturising but not too heavy.
Repurchase? Probably not..I've got so many eye creams waiting!
Natralus Natural Paw Paw Lip Butter*
I really like these lip balms - I still have two left. Moisturising but still lightweight on the lips - and yummy!
Repurchase? Maybe once I run out!

Beauty Theory Nail Polish Remover*
I finally tried one of those dip-your-finger-in-the-sponge nail polish removers! For the first few uses I really liked it - it took off nail polish super easily and quickly. I was impressed! But, it really didn't last super long - maybe about 10 or so uses? The sponge started to break apart and I think it started to dry out so it wasn't as effective. I would be tempted to try a different brand to see if maybe they last longer.
Repurchase? Not this one in particular.
Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel
Nothing really remarkable about this - it's a shower gel and I didn't really like the super sickly sweet, red frog-y scent that much.
Repurchase? No.
Natralus Paw Paw 95% Pure Moisturiser*
I really liked this! It has a very thin formula that absorbs almost instantly. I think this is amazing for hot, humid days when you don't want your skin to be sticky. That being said - it's not the most moisturising thing ever.
Repurchase? Possibly in the future!
The Body Shop Camomile Body Butter
I had this sitting around for so long and I finally used it up! I like the TBS body butters but they are really thick and heavy at times so I prefer them in Winter.
Repurchase? Probably not.
An Assortment of sachets!
I made a bit of an effort to use up some of my sachets - still have way too many though! These are all body creams and none of them really made an impression on me.
Another empties done and dusted for a few months! Always feels good to get rid of some trash :)) What have you guys been up to lately?! Anything exciting since I've been away? ;)
