It's about time to update you guys on what I've been watching while being holed up as a blanket burrito these winter holidays! It's true, I really don't have a social life. Lmaooo. Anyways - I've been watching a lot. Too much, even. And shockingly enough - not all of it has been good! So I thought I would split this post up a bit into likes, mehs and hates (though hate is a strong word haha).

What I've Been Watching #12
I'm here today with a long overdue update on my recent TV obsessions! While it's been a hot minute since my last TV faves post, it doesn't mean I've stopped watching TV! My faves today are all new shows that I haven't spoken (or written, rather) about before. I've been keenly watching Silicon Valley and Brooklyn Nine-Nine which have recently come back, and I've also binged the new seasons of A Series of Unfortunate Events (incredible! Still love this show, it's so clever and they've gotten to the books that I hadn't read so it's new to me!), Jessica Jones (good, but nowhere near as good as season 1. Again, way too long) and Santa Clarita Diet (still v funny and a good quick watch!). I also watched Nailed It! (hilarious and a good, nothing-to-do type of show) and Everything Sucks (didn't love it but the ending brought it home).

What I've Been Watching #11
It's about that time again...time to round up the latest tv shows I've been watching! I seem to do these roundups every three months, but some months I watch more shows than others! Seems to be the case these past few months (as I'm on holidays and I have nothing better to do than binge shows) as I have six shows to chat about! I also watched season 2 of the Crown and I enjoyed it. I liked how they focused on and delved more deeply into characters other than Elizabeth this season - like Philip! I had no idea he had such an extreme backstory haha. I was a bit sad for Margaret though - but I guess you can't change history!

What I've Been Watching #10
I can't quite believe I've managed to amass TEN of these TV show favourites posts on this blog...or can I believe it? I mean I do watch a HECK of a lot of TV. Anyway, now that I'm on holidays, I can binge ALL of the TV! I watched quite a few seasons of TV since my last TV post - including the latest seasons of Narcos and Bojack Horseman. I've talked about both of those shows before so they didn't make the cut in this post, but they were both incredible! I really enjoyed Narcos Season 3 - it was amazing even without Pablo, and if anything I found it a bit more exciting and action packed. Bojack was as emotional as ever and there was even more character development. For an animated comedy, this show goes deep. I'm also so excited for the shows coming out in the next couple of months - come at me The Punisher and The Crown!

What I've Been Watching #9
It's about time for another "What I've Been Watching"! I actually haven't been binging too many new shows but there have definitely been a few notable ones that I want to talk about. I've also been preoccupied with Game of Thrones every week - I can't quite believe the season is over next week already. Overall season 7 has been better than I expected (after the disasters of seasons 5 and 6 :P ), the epicness just makes me fangirl but the ridiculousness of timelines, some pretty dumb storylines and some characters acting completely ridiculously (*cough* Arya *cough*) have been getting me pretty annoyed! But you know me, I'm invested so I'm gonna be out here glued to the TV and screeching my head off :) :) :) Anyway - let's get into some other TV!

Monthly Favourites // May 2017
As always, May has come to a close quite quickly! It was my birthday month so I was fairly spoilt, got my fair share of loyalty program freebies and had an amazing night out mini golfing with my buds! I actually did quite a bit of shopping this month too (haul to come! Once my final order arrives...), so there will be plenty of new reviews and content coming soon! I've got a few assessments in the coming couple weeks, but I'm free after that! I have a select few favourites for this month, but some new products that I thought I'd share with you!

What I've Been Watching #8
Whelp! It's actually my birthday today - so that's exciting I guess! (Actually writing this the day before so technically not really lel). Sorry I'm not here with an insightful and reflective post on my 20 years on this planet, but I'm coming at you with a TV post which in my opinny is way better ;) As per the usual, these are all Netlfix shows cos it's just DANG convenient. That being said, quite a few of my favourite shows are back, like Veep and Silicon Valley. Also, Agents of Shield is almost over but its latest episodes have been FIRE. So good. Anyways - here are the shows I've been watching recently and (shocker!), I actually don't like all of them!!

What I've Been Watching #7
Uni holidays = me watching ALL of the shows. These past couple of months I have been PUMPING through them and I needed to get this roundup post up before I had too many to talk about! As usual, most of these are from Netflix. What can I say, I prefer long-form television to the movies. It’s so much more convenient to consume entertainment from the comfort of your own home. ;)

What I've Been Watching #6
'Tis the season to binge watch all the shows. I haven't done one of these posts in a while so I have a few shows that I watched a while ago that I haven't spoken about yet that are definitely worth talking about! As usual, most of them are from Netflix :P [I'm actually republishing this because I flailed and forgot to include two shows that I had to talk about!]

Monthly Favourites // August 2016
So we are well and truly on our way to the end of the year - mind boggling isn't it?! August has been pretty busy! Last week was assessment-heavy, but from here on out I pretty much have some sort of assessment every week which should be fun... Also - in case you missed it, Brisbane (where I live) was hit with Thor-mania! It was a bit hilarious actually, but Thor Ragnarok is currently filming at the Gold Coast and they came up to Brisbane for a few days to film some "city" scenes. They legit "transformed" Brisbane into New York City and disrupted traffic which got some people pretty annoyed but they also attracted huge crowds (me included...). What can I say, nothing ever happens here and that was pretty damn exciting! After waiting a solid few hours (in the rain!), I got a photo with Chris Hemsworth! Actually not my photo, but I sneaked in the background ;P Unfortunately, I didn't get one with my one true love Tom Hiddleston, but maybe it's better this way.... *CRIES* Anyway, I wasn't sure if I was going to do a favourites post this month because been using all the same stuff, but there were a few products that I've been using a lot that I haven't mentioned in a while!

What I've Been Watching #5
Sheesh it's been a hot minute since I last did a TV show round up! It's not that I stopped watching TV (that would be earth shattering), but in the last six months I haven't really started watching any new TV shows, or enough to warrant a post! Plus, most of the shows I watch were back (and uni) so I didn't have time for new ones! That being said, since my last post I have watched (and marathoned) a few new shows like Mr Robot (awesome), Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt season 2 (hilay), Daredevil season 2 (AMAZING), House of Cards season 4 (got pretty dang good in the second half), Love (pretty goodish), The Night Manager (goood) and I finished The Office (worth it)! I've also been watching Game of Thrones, Silicon Valley and Outlander which were the only shows I really cared about the past few months. Soooo...turns out I did watch a bunch of shows?? :P Anyway, here are some that I've watched a little more recently!

Monthly Favourites // March 2016
It's that time again, and as always - it's here way too quick! March has been mostly me getting back into the daily struggle routine of Uni lyfe. MUCH EXCITE THO - we adopted a puppy! My dad has been looking for a dog for a while and visited the pound over the weekend and found one! She is a four month old Kelpie x Cattle dog and we've named her Peppa :P She will be making her Instagram debut soon (to make an account for her though, or nah?) (EDIT: I made her an account! @peppathekelpie) I'm sure! She is quite chill and well behaved, and not too jumpy or aggressive which is great - she's settling in really well! Anyway, back to the makeups - I have quite a few faves and almost all of them are from my USA haul (see here and here), as I predicted! Let's jump in!

What I've Been Watching #4
We should just start calling this series, "What I'm watching on Netflix rn" tbh. But anyways, as predicted, I've been watching BUNCH of new shows as I'm on holidays, though still super busy! Mostly I'm just working and watching tv...need to catch up on reading blog posts, whoops! ALSO, another shoutout to Jessica Jones which I mentioned in my November Favourites. I was going to talk about it again because, y'know, IT DESERVES ANOTHER SHOUTOUT, but then I would have five posters and that doesn't make an even shape...lel. Anyway, WATCH JESSICA JONES IT'S REALLY GOOD.

Monthly Favourites // November 2015
Although I finished Uni at the end of October, November has still been a pretty hectic month! I've been working a bunch (does that at all justify the millions of hauls that happened in November??? Plus more in the mail WHOOPS) and my days off have mostly been trying to catch up on blogs and chillin owwwt watching shows, etc. I have quite a few new products to share with you, which I predicted I would last month. Lots of haulage = lots of exciting new products. Let's jump in!

What I've Been Watching #3
For the past few months, I have been ON that Netflix train. Legit. I've started and finished quite a few series since my last TV shows post that I wanted to give a mention. All the shows I watch are back as well which gives me reason to live. I've been loving tuning in to Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Good Wife, The Mindy Project, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, How to get Away with Murder and more on a weekly basis! To hear more about what I've been MARATHONING though, keep reading ;)

What I've Been Watching #2
So, as y'all know, whenever holidays roll around, so do the tv show binge watching tymz. I've been marathoning a couple of shows (OITNB season 3!) but I also thought I'd mention a few shows that I've been watching and enjoying lately and that often gave me brief reprieve from endless study (can't say those breaks were very well deserved :P ). You can read the first installment of this 'series' here.

Monthly Favourites // May 2015
HOW ARE WE BASICALLY HALFWAY THROUGH THE YEAR. THIS IS INSANE. May has been a hectic month for me. In my friendship group, May is, like, THE birthday month so pretty much every weekend I had at least one birthday 'do to attend (mine included! ;) )! While it was extremely fun catching up with everyone, it also meant I was super busy. Coupled with gift shopping, work, study and procrastination, there was little time left for blogging unfortunately! My blogging schedule has been all out of whack (kills me) but hopefully everything will be back to normal once I finish exams on the 10th! I've been trying to keep my bloglovin' feed contained, but it's so easy for the blogposts to just PILE UP! So, I'm trying to catch up on those too! Anyway, favourites-wise, as you guys saw, I've gotten A LOT of new stuff lately so I've been trying it all and not really using any one product a lot. I've rounded up the things I've loved though, but maybe haven't used them a tonne.

Monthly Favourites // April 2015
For serial doe, WHERE DID APRIL GO?!? I feel like I did nothing this month, study wise (oops). What with the Easter break, it felt like holidays and subsequently I watched a bunch of TV shows (more on that later) and movies (AVENGERS AOU!!!). But anyway, I have quite a few favourites this month so let's dig in!

Monthly Favourites // March 2015
March was a pretty busy month for me! It was basically my first month of uni where I actually started doing work, though...let's not talk about how I'm so behind on readings and should get back to doing the assignment that's due tonight! Favourites wise, I was actually grasping! Well, that's a bit extreme, but a lot is the same from last month. While I did get a boat load of stuff mid-month (thaaaanks Obsession!) I've been slowing starting to try things and wanted to test them out for a bit longer before I declared any faves! Though, there are definitely some gems in that bunch! Let's get stuck in here though!

I Do Marathons...Y'Know, of TV Shows
Something you guys probably know about me is that I love watching TV. I basically have two interests; beauty and TV, and both seem to involve me being glued to my laptop haha :P I don't think I've ever done a standalone TV post, aside from mentioning favourites here and there. Since I've been on holidays for the past couple of months (Uni and classes officially start next week, eek!), you could say I've been watching a fair amount of shows, and a few marathons have been run conducted. These are just a few shows that I've been watching more recently! I've also watched Pushing Daisies, the first season of American Horror Story, Outlander, Halt and Catch Fire, and that's not even including the shows I already watch! Also, sorry if I'm rambly and not very insightful about the shows...I'm better at fangirling about them than actually "reviewing" them :P
