Hey guys - I hope everyone is doing well as we ramp up for Christmas! I'm pretty hectic busy working those gruelling Christmas shopping shifts, and I still need to finish Christmas shopping myself (oops!). This will probably be my last post for..this year?? Maybe? I will be taking a bit of a break next week as I hang out with the fam, and we are going camping for a couple of days which should be fun! Today I'm reviewing a holiday release from this year, the NARS x Man Ray Love Triangle in Hot Sand and Rita. Unfortunately this is sold out online at Mecca - but neither of these are limited edition shades. The Audacious Lipstick in Rita is available permanently and Hot Sand is a highlighter shade that pops up pretty frequently. It seems to be available permanently in the US, but unfortunately not at Mecca!

My Summer Essentials
It took a minute, but summer is well and truly in full swing in Brisbane! The sun be swelterin' and the sweat be drippin'. I figured now was a good a time as any to share some of my essential products for combatting the hot weather (or rather making it more bearable!).

In the Spotlight // Liquid Foundations
Welcome to my foundation station where we're looking at my foundation rotation! Gotta throw in all of the rhyming words ;) I am here with another instalment of my 'In the Spotlight' series (or rather, reviving it) where I take a look at all my makeup collection through different categories, whether it be a type of product or a brand. Over my time of wearing makeup, I've cycled through quite a few different foundations! Here are the ones that have managed to stick around, and that I actually do wear! For reference, my skintone is light-medium with yellow undertones and I have pretty oily skin. I'd say I'm around a MAC NC25 (though I've never actually been shade matched lmao), and not all of my foundations are perfect matches haha :P

Collective Haul // November 2017
The last haul (hurrah!) of the year! November was FILLED with sales - almost too many sales for that matter. Was it just me, or were black friday and cyber monday absolutely crazy this year? It felt like every single shop and online store was having a sale, it was quite frankly overwhelming! Buuut that didn't stop me from doing some damage haha. My bank account definitely took a battering and yet I still haven't even finished my Christmas shopping. Oops. Onto the haul!

My Watch Collection + a Giveaway!
As someone who used to never wear a watch (and could barely read the time on an analog face... :P ), I now can't go a day without wearing one! Along with knowing the time without having to whip my phone out, I love how a watch can complete an outfit and in general makes me look more chic and gives the illusion that I'm a punctual person ;). I don't have a huge collection, but I have three quite different styles that go with different outfits and occasions!

Monthly Favourites // November 2017
Annnnnd it's Christmas. How we managed to get here so quickly baffles me, and there's no doubt December will go even quicker! As a retail worker, December and Christmastime are not the greatest (I'm dead sick of Christmas carols by the time Christmas actually happens), but at least I'll be keeping busy. Not a whole lot of new favourites this month, but all amazing products (+ a movie fave!)!

The Desert at Dusk
It seems that eyeshadow palettes are my vice... I have more than enough warm eyeshadows to last a lifetime but apparently I needed one more (oh and I've since purchased two more (warm!) eyeshadow palettes...damn you Colourpop!). Although I was adamant that I wasn't going to buy the Huda Beauty Desert Dusk Palette...it somehow made its way into my basket. It's eye-wateringly expensive at $95 (luckily I got it for 20% off) but there's something about this combination of colours that inspired me and was definitely unique to me and my collection. By no means does that justify the purchase, but I have to say I'm really happy I bit the bullet!

The Ordinary's Extraordinary Primer & Foundation
Today I'm coming at you with a good ol' foundation review, and throwing my thoughts on a primer in for good measure too! I'm reviewing The Ordinary Coverage Foundation and High-Adherence Silicone Primer. The Ordinary's foundations (Coverage and Serum) were subject to a lot of hype not too long ago. Do you remember that long-ass waitlist? I think that in and of itself created a lot of hype, but was probably due to the fact that they couldn't keep up with the demand! Both of their foundation offerings have been touted as incredible bases for such a low cost! Since the initial rave reviews, I've been seeing some mixed and negative ones - particularly of the Coverage Foundation so here I am to give you guys my own take!

Like Music to My Ears #10
New music time! It seems I have settled into a bit of a pattern with my music and tv show favourites - every three months I manage to amass a bundle of current faves to share with you guys. Seeing as I posted about my recent TV show binges last week, it seems only natural that my music faves follow soon after! I happen to have a really eclectic mix of genres and artists this time around - if I do say so myself!

Empties #15
Time to empty the trashbag into a dishevelled-chic flatlay! Probably the last empties of the year and I'm proud that I've gone through so many products. Enough with the preamble, because I know this post is going to be rambly as ffff!

Magnify with Rimmel's Magnif'eyes
Rimmel recently released their Magnif'eyes Eye Contouring Palettes* which are larger, revamped versions of their previous 6 pan eyeshadow palettes. They've come out with four 'editions'; Nude, Blush, Smoke and Colour, and I was very generously sent them all to review! While it is amazing to see drugstore brands come out with larger eyeshadow palettes, I do think Rimmel slightly missed the mark with these. They aren't bad palettes by any means, but there are certain aspects of them that could definitely be improved! Keep reading for my full thoughts and swatches...

What I've Been Watching #10
I can't quite believe I've managed to amass TEN of these TV show favourites posts on this blog...or can I believe it? I mean I do watch a HECK of a lot of TV. Anyway, now that I'm on holidays, I can binge ALL of the TV! I watched quite a few seasons of TV since my last TV post - including the latest seasons of Narcos and Bojack Horseman. I've talked about both of those shows before so they didn't make the cut in this post, but they were both incredible! I really enjoyed Narcos Season 3 - it was amazing even without Pablo, and if anything I found it a bit more exciting and action packed. Bojack was as emotional as ever and there was even more character development. For an animated comedy, this show goes deep. I'm also so excited for the shows coming out in the next couple of months - come at me The Punisher and The Crown!

Monthly Favourites // October 2017
I'm a wee bit late with my October favourites, but they're comin' at ya hot! I have just a small selection of favourites to share with you guys for the month - mostly new products though that I picked up in my recent collective haul! Like I said in that post - I'm free now! Yay! I've officially finished my assessment for this semester so four months of holidays - here I come! Hopefully that will also mean more (+ more regular) content and blog posts for you guys - but don't hold me to it... ;)

Collective Haul // October 2017
It's been a minute since my last all-out haul, and to be fair, I really didn't intend for all this stuff to just accumulate! It did though, and when I realised a had a box full of new products, I figured I should haul them. This is roughly half purchased myself and half sent to me by PR - just a heads up! From next week though we should be (hopefully!) back to regular posts as I will be done with uni and exams for the year! Strap in, it's a long one!

Desi x Katy // Dose of Colors
Hello chickens! Chickens seems like an appropriate greeting for this post seeing as chickens are Desi's ~thang~, holla at me if you a part of her coop! I am finally getting my act together and writing my review for the Dose of Colors Desi x Katy collection! I managed to get my hands on a few of the products when they first launched, and they are having their third and final restock on October 18th at 9am PST. So I figured I should probably get my review up before these become impossible to get! If you guys didn't know, Desi and Katy are my absolute favourite Youtubers - they are hilarious, talented and their relationship is so genuine and adorable! If you follow them on Youtube, be sure to hit them up on Snapchat too because that's where the good shit is ;) It took all of my willpower to not get the entire collection - everything is so gorgeous! From the packaging to the products, the collection screams Desi and Katy and from other reviews, every product performs absolutely amazingly! Spoiler I guess - because I love what I got from the collection! I bought their Eyeshadow Palette aka "The Girls", lipstick in More Creamer Please and the two Liquid Matte Lipsticks in Hot Fire and Saváge.

NOTD // Island Hopping
Wow - it's been a while since I did a nail of the day! Talk about a throwback! If you were around when I used to do these once a month...you are an OG fan indeed - thanks for sticking around! ;) Haha! Most of the time I forget to take photos of my manicure while it's still fresh and looks nice (or it's just an old polish that you've probably seen before), but this time I remembered! Here's a few photos of Essie Island Hopping which is a shade I really hadn't heard of before stumbling upon it in Priceline (and promptly buying it!).

Monthly Favourites // September 2017
Ya gurl CANNOT believe we are in October already... I know it's terribly clichéd to say "where did that month go! It went so fast!" at the beginning of a monthly favourites post...but honestly, where in tha heck did that month go?! I didn't end up doing a monthly favourites last month because I've been so boring with my beauty routines lately and really using the same products! I do have a few newies to share with you guys though!

Anastasia Beverly Hills x Nicole Guerriero Glow Kit
I know I am really late on the bandwagon for reviewing the Anastasia Beverly Hills Nicole Guerriero Glow Kit (I mean, everyone's long gone on the Fenty highlighter train by now!), but I did really want to do a full review on it! I do apologise for my lateness though, because it seems now that this highlighter palette is sold out almost everywhere...eek! I'm not completely sure what the status on it is, from what I heard - it's flip flopped from limited edition, to permanent, back to limited edition, and I'm really not sure if it's coming back! Part of the reason why I delayed this review for so long (besides my laziness) is because it took me a while to make my mind up about it! I do have some mixed thoughts...

Like Music to My Ears #9
Hello friends! Apologies for my mini break the last couple of weeks - life has been hectic! I was hit with a mountain of assessment due dates a week or so ago which was utterly life consuming, and I've been pretty worn out since then! I'm coming at you with a music post today though, because as mentioned in my last one, SO many new albums have been coming out! It's pretty crazy but awesome how basically every week I have a new album to listen to - since I can get tired of music pretty quickly. That being said, I've been listening to these albums for a good month or so and haven't tired of them yet!

ColourPop Reviews #2
It's been a minute (aka months) since I actually hauled these Colourpop bits, so I thought I'd better get my ass into gear and review them! Also I figured I'd start a new "series" featuring Colourpop reviews since whenever I buy anything from Colourpop, it's usually quite a few items so review posts with a bunch of products tend to pop up quite often here! I've been using these for the past few months and really been enjoying them, so it's time to share my thoughts and some swatches!

What I've Been Watching #9
It's about time for another "What I've Been Watching"! I actually haven't been binging too many new shows but there have definitely been a few notable ones that I want to talk about. I've also been preoccupied with Game of Thrones every week - I can't quite believe the season is over next week already. Overall season 7 has been better than I expected (after the disasters of seasons 5 and 6 :P ), the epicness just makes me fangirl but the ridiculousness of timelines, some pretty dumb storylines and some characters acting completely ridiculously (*cough* Arya *cough*) have been getting me pretty annoyed! But you know me, I'm invested so I'm gonna be out here glued to the TV and screeching my head off :) :) :) Anyway - let's get into some other TV!

Haul // Priceline 40% Off Cosmetics #3
Priceline's twice yearly 40% off sale is upon us again and I popped in yesterday to have a squiz. When it comes to these sales, I'm usually armed with a meticulous wishlist and I'm in and out in a flash, but this time there really wasn't anything I had a hankering for and I just decided to go in and wing it (but wing it responsibly of course)! I think I was really restrained, there were a few items that went into my basket that I later put back (props to me), but there were a couple impulse buys as well. The sale ends today, so it's not too late to pop in and bag a bargain!

New Specs
Something you guys may or may not know about me is that I am a glasses-wearer! I'm short-sighted and while my vision isn't terrible (I don't wear my glasses around the house), I definitely need to wear my glasses whenever I go out. I've come to actually really love wearing glasses - I think of them as an accessory and find they add another element of interest to my face. One thing about me though is that I'm pretty sensitive in the sun - I get super squinty and my eyes start watering if I look into the sun for too long lmao. So - prescription sunglasses are a must for me! I've amassed quite the collection of glasses (more than pictured), but I recently got a few new pairs that I thought I'd share with you guys!

Monthly Favourites // July 2017
Back at the monthly favourites! In terms of products, July was fairly uneventful for me! Since I was away for the first week and a bit, I was really using the same products, and when I got back I was pretty boring and lazed around at home meaning not a stitch of makeup was worn! Now that I'm back at uni, I'll be out and about more and back to experimenting with products. It also means I'm back to being super busy and preoccupied with study and work! :( I do have a few notable products to share with you guys for this month though, so let's get into them!

Spring Strobing
I always seem to be a little late on the hottest trends, and the "colour shifty highlights" trend was no exception. Despite the fact that these might not be in fashion any more, I'm glad I waited out the hype to purchase the Zoeva Spring Spectrum Highlighting Palette. I was most wary of how "unwearable" colourful highlighters would be, but thankfully - Zoeva's palette is pretty wearable! It contains four shades, and from what I hear, is a really great, cheaper alternative to the Kat Von D Alchemist palette!

Printing Photos with Printiki
Despite being someone who is constantly taking photos of my food and my dog (and other random crap), I don't remember the last time I actually printed any of those photos. I think being part of a generation where photos are so easily accessible on your phone and online, I've lost the appreciation for actually having physical photos on display! When Printiki reached out to me and offered to print some of my photos - I jumped at the chance and thought it would be a great opportunity to jazz up my room and have my favourite photos on display!

Like Music to My Ears #8
I'm back from my mini holiday! It was really fun and I had a great time in Melbourne! Also, I was more successful at skiing this time around! I did really suck the first day and stacked it a few more times than I should have, but the second day was much better and I actually enjoyed it! I thought it was about due time for a music post though because I don't know about you guys, but when I travel I listen to a lot of music! It was a bit of a road trip to the ski fields! ;) Also, there's been a lot of new music lately, and more new music to come so probably expect another of these in the next month or two. Let's dive in!

Monthly Favourites // June 2017
I can't quite believe June is over and I'm writing another monthly favourites! I feel like I'm always doing these because I've been posting less frequently and quite sporadically (which I do apologise for! Y'know though, life gets in the way!), but I try to always do a monthly faves post! ...Which results in every third or fourth post being a favourites haha oops! I'm hoping to get back into the swing of blogging now that I'm on uni holidays - but tomorrow I fly off to Melbourne for a week so I probably won't post then :P . Bear with me! I'll be going skiing this weekend which I'm both excited and nervous for - I've only skied once before and I was a wreck, so here's hoping this time goes a bit better! As for the rest of my time in Melbourne, I'm not sure what I'll be doing actually! Still need to plan some stuff out but I'm open to any recommendations any Melbournians have! Anyway, let's dive into the favourites!

Battle of the Anti-Fatigue Foundations
You could call it a coincidence, but within the last couple of months, both Rimmel and Bourjois have reformulated their Wake Me Up and Healthy Mix foundations respectively. I was very kindly sent both of them to review, and it didn't take me long to realise they were both claiming very similar things! Firstly, they're both "anti-fatigue" foundations that contain vitamins which are supposedly better for your skin! I'm not so sure about the actual efficacy of vitamins in foundations - I don't know about you but I don't really wear foundation for its skincare benefits. But anyway, as foundations - they're very similar formulas so I thought it would be worthwhile comparing them!

Bridal + Bridesmaid Makeup
A couple of months ago, my sister got married and I had the honour of doing her makeup! When my sister first suggested that I do her makeup, I was very hesitant...Me?! Doing your makeup on the day that you'll forever look back on!? But what if I screw it up! I'd like to think I'm pretty good at makeup on myself, and on other people, but hey, I ain't no makeup artist. That being said, I have done both of my sisters' makeup numerous times in the past, and they both seem to really like the finished results. So, the more I thought about it, the more I warmed to the idea. Why spend hundreds of dollars on a makeup artist when I can do it for free? I mean, we all know I have all the products and the fact that I could do a bunch of trial tests on her was appealing to the both of us - and trust me, we did a bunch of trials (she's fussy!). Eventually though, we settled on this look which thankfully, she really liked and was super happy with. I also had to do mine, my other sister's bridesmaid makeup and my mum's so to say I was a bit rushed the morning of is probably an understatement, but luckily everything turned out amazingly!

Collective Haul // May 2017
Technically, this is my first haul this year - and I'm pretty proud of that fact! I really haven't bought too many new beauty products this year, but I happened to go ham in the last month! To be fair, May was my birthday month so I was spoilt and got a few gifts, had some loyalty club bday perks and just plain felt spendy! Let's dive in because there's a fair bit to get through!

Monthly Favourites // May 2017
As always, May has come to a close quite quickly! It was my birthday month so I was fairly spoilt, got my fair share of loyalty program freebies and had an amazing night out mini golfing with my buds! I actually did quite a bit of shopping this month too (haul to come! Once my final order arrives...), so there will be plenty of new reviews and content coming soon! I've got a few assessments in the coming couple weeks, but I'm free after that! I have a select few favourites for this month, but some new products that I thought I'd share with you!

Flashin' Those Pearly Lights
Remember how I said I was content with my highlighter collection...? Whelp - here I am with a brand new one to add to the stash (aaaand I also got the Anastasia Beverly Hills x Nicole Guerriero palette haha :P )! To be fair though, my lovely friends Lucy and Jacinta (shoutouts!) gave this to me for my birthday, so it's really not my fault that they're feeding my addiction... The highlighter palette in question is the collaboration between Smashbox and Casey Holmes - the Spotlight Palette in Pearl. This wasn't one that really caught my attention very much, but I'm actually really liking it so big ups to ma mates. Also do ya like the title, pearly lights...pearly whites? Geddit?

What I've Been Watching #8
Whelp! It's actually my birthday today - so that's exciting I guess! (Actually writing this the day before so technically not really lel). Sorry I'm not here with an insightful and reflective post on my 20 years on this planet, but I'm coming at you with a TV post which in my opinny is way better ;) As per the usual, these are all Netlfix shows cos it's just DANG convenient. That being said, quite a few of my favourite shows are back, like Veep and Silicon Valley. Also, Agents of Shield is almost over but its latest episodes have been FIRE. So good. Anyways - here are the shows I've been watching recently and (shocker!), I actually don't like all of them!!

Monthly Favourites // April 2017
MAYDAY, MAYDAY! IT'S MAY...DAY! Yup, that's right. It's the first of May...HOW. I cannot belieb we are already in May (my birthday month!) - this year is going crazy quick. I didn't do a monthly favourites last month because I was pretty busy but also I wasn't loving much new stuff. I have quite a few products worth talking about this month though so let's get into them!

In the Spotlight // Highlighters
I have another In the Spotlight post coming at you today, only this time we're literally in the spotlight as we take a look at my highlighter collection! It's about to get LOUIS LITT up in here! I've been meaning to do this post for a while and I think I'm pretty happy with my current collection. The Anastasia Beverly Hills x Nicole Glow Kit is calling my name though... but alas, here we are at the moment! I've tried to organise them by colour family for best comparison. I'll also try to be brief but we could be in for a long one!

In the Spotlight // Lush
Lush products have been a mainstay in my collection for years now, whether it be their body or skincare products! Their products are fun - and effective - and I love the ethos behind the brand. They're all about fighting animal cruelty, their packaging uses recycled plastics (and they have a great recycling packaging program where you can get a free face mask if you bring in your empty packaging) and they are handmade and use a lot of great ingredients. Among many other reasons, they're just a really great brand altogether and their employees are helpful and energetically bubbly (which can sometimes be overbearing, but hey, it's their job!). They have such a huge range of products and while I haven't tried all of them (not even close!), I do think I've tried enough to write up a brand spotlight post! I actually mention them quite a lot on my blog - mostly in empties posts - but haven't ever really devoted whole posts to them! Sidenote - this is my 400th post! Wowheee!

Like Music to My Ears #7
It's been a looooong time since my last music post, which is a bit unfortunate really! I tend to like to do these as round ups of albums I've been listening to - I'm the kind of person who listens to whole albums on repeat until I get tired of them - and not a lot of albums have really hooked me in the past six-ish months. That being said, there have been a few really good new releases and some artists I've just discovered! Plus! It's music festival season so I thought y'all might want some recs ;) Lately I've just been really enjoying listening to the Triple J hitlist which is where I tend to keep up to date with new music and discover new peeps!

Empties #13
Hellloooo... is this thing on?! Long time no see peeps! I'm back from my longer-than-intended hiatus! The past month or so has been absolutely hectic for me and I seriously had no time to even think about blogging, let alone actually taking photos or sitting down and writing a post! I've been absolutely slammed with assessment (it's been my biggest first half of semester ever), not to mention it was my sister's wedding on the weekend! It was a very DIY wedding so the days leading up to the wedding were super busy setting up the decor and the venue (and then cleaning up after!). I did her makeup on the day - along with mine and my other sister as we were bridesmaids - which was quite stressful but still super amazing! I do plan on doing a post on the products I used because I was really happy with how it turned out - I'm just waiting until the professional photos come in! Anyway, I'm coming at you today with an overdue empties post. I was going to do this a few weeks ago but I realised I didn't actually have a lot of empties, but a lot of things were aaaalmost finished so I used those suckers up! I've got a lot of products to go through so I'll try and be as brief as possible!

In the Spotlight // Matte Liquid Lipsticks
I've been meaning to do a round-up post of my matte liquid lipsticks for the longest time (same with highlighters - I'll get to those soon!!), but I always had some excuse that I didn't have enough or I would wait until I got all the ones on my wishlist. Well, it seems like a lot of the beauty community is starting to get over the intense trend that was the liquid lip, and I think I'm among them! Don't get me wrong, I still love a good liquid lip and I have found a few really good formulas that aren't too drying but are still long lasting. But, I think I've gotten all of the ones that I've wanted and don't have an itch to check out any of the new launches (*cough* Urban Decay *cough*). So, I guess now is as good a time as any to share my collection with you guys!
13/03/2017
In The Spotlight // Milani Cosmetics
I'm back with another brand spotlight post, this time for Milani Cosmetics. Unfortunately I only have three products (trust me, I wish I had more) but they're all definitely worth talking about! Milani is a brand I've always been interested in but unfortunately don't have the easiest access to! We can pretty easily purchase their products online now which is great, but sometimes I just like to have a play in person! The three products I do have from them though are all pretty great...keep reading for my full review!

New In // Face Masks
I haven't done a dedicated post on the face masks I've been using in literally years, which is a crying shame because they are seriously an integral part of my routine! Over the past month or two, I've had a bit of an influx of new masks that definitely deserved a mention! In addition to these, I've been using my old fave Antipodes Aura Manuka Honey Mask which is my moisturising must! I got on to my second tube too so y'all know I love it. I tend to do a clay mask twice a week, and a moisturising and exfoliating mask once a week. Seems like overkill, but what can I say? I find masks to be the most effective product in giving quick, significant results! Anyway - let's dive in!

Monthly Favourites // February 2017
Another month has come to an end, and as usual, much too quickly. This week I'm back at uni and nope nope nope, I AIN'T READY. I'm unprepared (as usual) and just sooooo not enthused for the onslaught of work, assessment and stress that is to come. Just expect blog quality to go downhill from here on out ;) (just kidding...or am I?). In all seriousness, when assessment does ramp up, the blog will definitely have to take a backseat and I hope you can all understand! Today though, I'm coming at you with my February favourites. There are definitely a few new products I've been loving, as well as some products I've rediscovered in my collection.

Colour Families // The Vivid Violets
It's been a minute since I've done a colour families post but I fully intend to keep it going! In case you're unfamiliar with my little 'series', I'm going through my collection and rounding up my products according to their colour. I've already done a couple of posts on rusty reds and berries and burgundies. Today, we're all about the vivid violets! Extra snaps when the title has alliteration ;) I have always been a lover of purple but it's been over the past year or so that I've really gotten comfortable wearing them in makeup! I've since moved on to more of the grey-toned purples (you can bet I'll have a post about those), but since summer is still in full swing I figured I'd round up the bright ones. I thought I had a bigger collection of shades like these, but my other purples tended to be more muted. It's basically just lip products and nail polishes because I can't imagine wearing a violet blush or eyeshadow!

Biology for the Body
I'm always on the lookout for burgeoning Australian brands to try, so I was super excited when I was introduced to some products from Biology, an Australian-made brand that utilises natural ingredients for clean formulas, are cruelty free and environmentally friendly. They have a range of hair, body and spa products with ranges for sensitive skin, as well as ones that utilise aromatic essential oils for a therapeutic, spa-like experience. I was very kindly sent their Ultra Hydrate Body Butter* and Skin Smoothing Body Buff*, and they've pleasantly surprised me indeed.

Rimmel The Only 1 Matte Lipsticks
Rimmel is back at it again with their lip releases, and like their last launch, The Only 1 Matte Lipsticks* are pretty great! This range is a spinoff of the original The Only 1 Lipstick formula which was touted as being an all-in-one, moisturising, intense and long lasting lip product. If you read my review of the originals, you may know I wasn't the hugest fan of them. I found them to be a bit too creamy, shiny and slippy, and tended to smear and transfer easily. So, when Rimmel announced they were coming out with a matte version, I was super excited as I knew they would be much more up my alley! Keep reading for my full review and swatches of the available nine shades...

Trying Mineral Powder Foundations
Mineral foundations have always been touted as uber natural, lightweight, breathable and 'good' for the skin. I've been super curious to try them, but have always thought of them as being a bit messy and difficult to apply. What can I say - I'm a liquid foundation kinda gal! Luckily though, I was given the opportunity to try a couple of mineral foundations from Antipodes and Vani-T, and my eyes have been opened to their wonders!

What I've Been Watching #7
Uni holidays = me watching ALL of the shows. These past couple of months I have been PUMPING through them and I needed to get this roundup post up before I had too many to talk about! As usual, most of these are from Netflix. What can I say, I prefer long-form television to the movies. It’s so much more convenient to consume entertainment from the comfort of your own home. ;)

The Perfect Palette Tag
Palettes, palettes, palettes! Lord knows I love a good palette and I've certainly amassed a big enough collection to show for it! I've been meaning to do the perfect palette tag for the looooongest time, I think someone might have tagged me to do it but it was so long ago I've forgotten who it was - sorry! I kept putting it off because I kept wanting to wait until I got that palette that was on my wishlist (which was neverending). Finally, I think I'm pretty happy with my collection and as of right now...there aren't any palettes actively calling my name! Just wait a week or two though... Shoutout to my blush/face palettes too! I love you guys ya just didn't fit any of the categories :'( Anyway, let's dive in!
